Service Available Through JioFiber and JioTV App; Includes Ground Reports, Explainers, Interviews, and Special Programs

In an important development for Marathi audiences, BBC Marathi News is now available on JioTV and JioTV+ platforms. The announcement was made by BBC Marathi representative Abhijit Kamble.
Kamble stated that viewers can now watch 24-hour live streaming of BBC Marathi News on JioTV. In addition to breaking news updates, audiences will have access to in-depth and analytical programs covering a wide range of topics.
The content lineup includes ground reports on major events, the explainer series “Sopi Goshta” (Simple Story) that breaks down complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner, “Teen Goshti” (Three Things) featuring key developments of the day, and “Gavakadchi Goshta”, which focuses on agriculture and rural issues.
The platform will also offer analysis of international affairs, unique and inspiring stories from around the world, “Maharashtrachi Goshta”, a program featuring interviews with prominent personalities from Maharashtra, and “Samaj-Gairsamaj”, a show where experts address common questions and misconceptions among young people.
According to Abhijit Kamble, social media algorithms often prevent important news content from reaching audiences. However, viewers on JioTV will be able to access all BBC Marathi programs without such limitations.
Those with a JioFiber connection can watch BBC Marathi News live on their television sets. Additionally, users with the JioTV app installed on their mobile devices can also access the live stream anytime.
