(Press) A tribute meeting has been organized on Tuesday, June 9, at 3:00 PM to pay homage to senior journalist, historian, and respected academic in the field of journalism, Bhushan Deshmukh, following his demise. The meeting has been jointly organized by journalists and the CSRD Institute.
(Press) The condolence gathering will be held in the auditorium of CSRD College. Journalists, students, colleagues, and members of the public are invited to attend. The organizers have appealed for a large turnout to pay tribute to Deshmukh.
(Press) Throughout his long journalistic career, Bhushan Deshmukh made a distinct mark through his work on social, historical, and intellectual subjects. He taught journalism at CSRD and mentored numerous students. He also served as the Director of Radio Nagar, operated by Snehalaya, where he made significant contributions to community media.
His passing has created a profound void in the fields of journalism, historical research, and social work, many have expressed.
