(India News) A major and significant political development has taken place in Tamil Nadu as the Communist Party of India (CPI) has announced unconditional support to the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) for government formation. An official letter regarding this decision has been sent to the Governor by the Tamil Nadu State Council of the CPI.
(India News) In the letter addressed to the Governor, CPI Legislature Party leader T. Ramachandran stated that the decision was taken following the instructions of party secretary M. Veerapandian. The letter further clarified that the party’s two MLAs are extending unconditional support for the formation of a government under the leadership of C. Joseph Vijay, president of TVK and leader of its legislative party.

The CPI stated that this support has been extended in the interest of ensuring a stable, secular, and democratic government.
