(World News) Dr. Atulkumar Ramakant Chaurapgar, Head of the Department of Zoology at Dadapatil Rajale Arts and Science College, Adinathnagar, was honored with the prestigious “Excellence in Environmental Sustainability Award – 2026” at the 10th International Conference on Climate Smart Natural Resources Management for Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences held in Bangkok, Thailand.
(World News) The award was presented along with a citation and memento by distinguished academicians and scientists, including Dr. Binay Kumar Chakraborty (Dhaka, Bangladesh), Dr. Ramesh Rathod (Raichur, Karnataka), Dr. Upendra Singh (Jaipur, Rajasthan), Dr. Joginder Singh, Dr. Anant Kumar (President, ATDS, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh), and Dr. Devanshu Gupta (Scientist, Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata).
(World News) Dr. Chaurapgar received the honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the fields of environmental sustainability, zoology, and sustainable development. His achievement has brought pride to Dadapatil Rajale Arts and Science College as well as the educational community of the Ahilyanagar district.
The international conference was held from June 5 to June 8, 2026, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. Researchers and experts from various countries presented studies on climate change, natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
Several professors and department heads from colleges across Maharashtra also participated in the conference, including Dr. Tanveer Pathan, Dr. P. R. More, Dr. Ashok Munde, Dr. Santosh Rankhamb, Dr. Ramhari Maikar, Dr. Vikas Kalyankar, young scientist Ranjit Raut, Dr. Sunil Khade, Dr. Yasmin Shaikh, Dr. Sangeeta Dongre, Dr. Priyanka Gaikwad, and Dr. Ayesha Durrani, among others.
