Pooja Madan Shirsath and Dipali Mahadev Ghuge have been selected for police posts, and notably, both secured selection through the open category. Their achievement has created an atmosphere of celebration across the village.
(Women) Pooja Madan Shirsath achieved this success by overcoming extremely difficult circumstances. Following her father’s death, she faced financial and family hardships but continued her education while preparing for police recruitment. Her success reflects the struggle and support of her mother and brother. Pooja’s determination and resilience in difficult times have been widely appreciated.
Meanwhile, Dipali Mahadev Ghuge set a new example by succeeding in police recruitment on her very first attempt. Her success in the first attempt is being seen as a symbol of hard work, confidence, and consistent preparation.
(Women) The two daughters of Ghotan village proved that any goal can be achieved through honest effort, family support, and strong determination. Villagers celebrated their success with a procession accompanied by drums and traditional music. Family members and relatives also honored them with a traditional sweet ceremony and offered prayers at Mallikarjuneshwar Temple, seeking blessings.
