(Literature) A strong intellectual debate has emerged following the firm argument made by Suresh Dwadashiwar in his new book that “Tattvajnana and Philosophy are not synonymous terms.” Against the backdrop of his latest writings exploring faith, religion, logic, knowledge, and modern intellectual trends, a special public lecture has been organized in Nagpur.

On the topic “Our Religious Scriptures and Our Philosophy,” Prof. Suresh Dwadashiwar will deliver a lecture on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Baburao Dhanwate Hall in Shankarnagar. The event will also include the launch of his new books.

(Literature) In his book, Prof. Suresh Dwadashiwar highlights the fundamental distinction between Tattvajnana and Philosophy. According to him, Tattvajnana follows a path shaped by faith, God, and spiritual experience, whereas philosophy is rooted in logic, secularism, and the pursuit of knowledge. He strongly argues that Tattvajnana tends to lead backward, while philosophy guides society forward.
(Literature) The event has been organized by the Pragatisheel Lekhak Sangh with support from the Manovikas Prakashan and Shrividya Prakashan.
The organizers have appealed to thinkers, literature enthusiasts, students, and scholars to attend the program.
