Inspirational | Selection of Soldier Shankar Devdhe from a Warkari Family as Electrical Assistant

(Inspirational) Shankar Devdhe, son of Radhakisan Devdhe, a devoted follower of the Warkari sect from Mohoz Devdhe village in Pathardi Taluka, has recently been selected as an Electrical Assistant in the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company. Following the selection of this son of the soil who served in the Indian Army, the entire village congratulated him and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.

(Inspirational) Shankar Radhakisan Devdhe joined the Indian Army in 2002. He received his training at the Bombay Engineering Group in Pune. After completing his physical training, he was assigned to the Electrician trade. Once he completed his trade training, he was posted to the 118 Engineer Regiment in Firozpur, Punjab. He served the nation for 17 years in the same regiment and returned home safely after retirement.

 

(Inspirational) After retiring from the Army, he appeared for the examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company. He successfully cleared the exam and was selected for the post of Electrical Assistant in the company.

 

Coming from a family deeply rooted in values and good upbringing, Shankar Devdhe has continued his life journey with those same principles. His father, Radhakisan Devdhe, is always engaged in spiritual pursuits. His eldest uncle, the late Raosaheb Devdhe, was a devoted worshipper of Lord Pandurang, while another uncle, Dattatraya Devdhe, is a progressive farmer. His elder brother, Kantabapu Devdhe, is a renowned devotional singer and has also performed on All India Radio.
Being a worthy son of such a noble family, Shankar Devdhe’s selection as an Electrical Assistant will surely contribute to bringing uninterrupted light into the homes of electricity consumers and ensuring a smooth power supply for farmers.
