World news | Goa Nepali Embassy Assures Continued Support; Awareness Campaign for Migrant Workers

India-Nepal Friendship Strengthens through Dialogue Program in

(World news) To further strengthen the age-old friendship and brotherhood between India and Nepal, the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, in collaboration with Kin India and local Nepali organizations in Goa, organized a dialogue program in Panaji. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Surendra Thapa, Deputy Chief of the Nepali Embassy, assured that the embassy is committed to resolving issues faced by Nepali citizens residing across India, including Goa.

 

(Worldnews) The event was graced by Second Secretary Uttam Nepune, Yadunath Bhattarai, Manoj Kumar Singh, Kin India Director Naveen Joshi, Lokendra Serpali, Advocate Shrinivas Khalap, journalist Prabhakar Dhage, and others.

 

(World news) The primary objective was to educate Nepali migrant workers on Indian labor laws and raise awareness about human trafficking risks. The event was supported by Kin India, an organization actively working against human trafficking.

 

Second Secretary Nepune highlighted the importance of safe migration practices, as many Nepali workers in India face exploitation and trafficking. Advocate Khalap offered free legal consultation to Nepali nationals, while journalist Dhage urged the Nepali Embassy to expand its outreach for Nepali communities across India.
Lokendra Serpali opened the session, and Dr. Surendra Thapa concluded with a vote of thanks.
