(Social) Film enthusiast and critic Anmol Kothadia stated that a film which connects people with one another is a good film, while one that separates people from each other is a bad film.

(Social) He was speaking at the ‘Laghupat Samvad’ (Short Film Dialogue) program organized by Rotary Club of Kolhapur Midtown at Hotel Vrushali on May 16. During the event, the sensitive Iranian short film Are You Volleyball? was screened, followed by an open discussion.

(Social) Kothadia said that the thought was inspired by an idea from the play Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla, which he admires deeply. He added that the Rotary Club’s prayer itself begins with the concept of world peace. In today’s war-like and tense global atmosphere, Are You Volleyball? presents a journey toward pure humanity through the medium of sport.

The special discussion program was organized through the initiative of Bharati Nayak and Vikas Raut. Rotary Club President Ketan Mehta, Treasurer Sachin Mane, and Srinivas Joshi were present on the discussion panel. Sandeep Sutar introduced Anmol Kothadia.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to interact with senior film enthusiast Deepak Miraje. Attendees were delighted to learn that Patil, who accompanied him, also enjoys watching films in various languages. The presence of young film enthusiast Shreyansh Miraje also drew attention. The short film discussion concluded enthusiastically.
