At an age when most children are occupied with mobile games, 12-year-old Abdullah Imran from Solapur has demonstrated remarkable creativity and determination by building a solar-powered smart bicycle using scrap materials. The innovative project was completed at a cost of just ₹9,000.
One of the key features of the Solar Smart Cycle is that it charges through solar energy. It is also equipped with modern features such as GPS tracking, a digital speedometer, and voice control. Even if the battery runs out, the bicycle can still be ridden like a conventional cycle by pedalling.
Abdullah spent nearly six months designing and completing the project. Despite limited resources and a modest budget, he successfully integrated modern technology into the bicycle, making it an inspiring example of innovation for students and young science enthusiasts.
