(Politics) Popular Tamil actor and leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), C. Joseph Vijay (Thalapathy Vijay), visited the central headquarters of the Communist Party of India (CPI), known as Ajoy Bhavan, in New Delhi today. The visit has triggered widespread discussion in national political circles.
(Politics) Vijay was welcomed by CPI National Secretary D. Raja. Also present on the occasion were members of the party’s National Secretariat, including Ramakrishna Panda, senior leader Pallab Sengupta, and K. Narayana.
(Politics) According to sources, the meeting focused on the current political situation in the country, the protection of democratic values, social justice, secularism, and issues concerning the common people. The visit has attracted particular attention in the context of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
