(History) On this occasion, Headmistress Rani More addressed the students and enlightened them about the valiant and selfless history of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Maharani Yesubai, and Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. The program was organized under the guidance of school director Deepali Pawar. Teachers Meghna Jadhav and young historian Harish Hire also contributed actively to the event.

(History) Although July 27 marks the official date of Maharani Yesubai’s Jayanti, it fell on a Sunday this year. As a result, many schools couldn’t organize celebrations on the same day. However, schools like Saraswati Vidyamandir took the initiative to celebrate the occasion on Monday, July 28, overcoming the weekend holiday challenge.
Many private schools that wished to celebrate the occasion were unable to do so due to the Sunday holiday, and several educators expressed their regret. Despite this, the efforts made by schools that held the event on the next working day are being appreciated.
The event also received special appreciation from Shreemant Laxmikant Raje Shirke, a descendant of the royal house of Maharani Yesubai, known for their unwavering loyalty to Swarajya.
