(Bureaucracy) The Revenue Department is the backbone of the district administration and represents the government’s first presence in every village. The efficiency of officers and employees reflects the credibility of the administration, stated District Collector Dr. Pankaj Ashiya.

(Bureaucracy) An Officer-Employee Felicitation Program was organized at the District Collectorate on the occasion of Revenue Week 2025 and Revenue Day. Present at the event were Collector Dr. Pankaj Ashiya, Superintendent of Police Somanath Gharge, Municipal Commissioner Yashwant Dange, Additional Collector Shailesh Hinge, Resident Deputy Collector Dadasaheb Gite, Registrar of Mahatma Phule Agricultural University Dr. Rajendrakumar Patil, and In-charge District Superintendent of Land Records Jitendra Bhingardive, among others.
(Bureaucracy) Dr. Ashiya emphasized that the Revenue Department is a vital link between the government and the people. Its importance has been underscored since the British era. Initially focused solely on revenue collection, the department now handles tasks such as implementation of government schemes, disaster management, elections, and land distribution. It plays a critical role in resolving rural issues and delivering justice.
