(Social harmony) Maharashtra’s first and unique Eid special issue, “Nabz,” is entering its fifth year, continuing its mission to foster dialogue, harmony, and social goodwill. Inspired by the rich tradition of Diwali special publications, Nabz, which began in 2021, has emerged as a positive response to rising hatred, misunderstandings, and the lack of communication in society.

Lack of dialogue is the root of misunderstanding:

Today, reduced interaction between the majority community and the Muslim community has widened the gap of misunderstanding. Despite living as neighbors, there is limited awareness about each other’s language, culture, food habits, and ways of life. Against this backdrop, Nabz aims to present the Muslim community beyond stereotypical images, highlighting its literature, progressive thought, and positive contributions in an honest and meaningful way.

An effort to build a bridge of harmony:

Through Nabz, efforts are being made to plant seeds of dialogue between different sections of society, with the core aim of breaking walls of distance and building bridges of mutual warmth and understanding.

An initiative supported by readers:

In just four editions, Nabz has received an overwhelming response from journalists, writers, social workers, and informed readers. However, the initiative does not have the backing of any large institution or financial sponsor.

The entire journey relies on reader subscriptions and contributions, and raising the minimum funds required for publishing remains a challenge.

Citizens are appealed to support the Nabz initiative in spreading a message of love and dialogue by dismantling walls of hatred nd misunderstanding. Every contribution, big or small, will play a valuable role in promoting harmony.
