World news | India-Wide Free Skin Health Camps by IADVL on July 13, A Historic Initiative

(World news) Under the theme ‘No Health Without Skin Health’, the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) will organize over 550 free skin health camps across India on July 13, 2025.

(World news) With more than 18,200 members, IADVL is India’s largest and the world’s second-largest association of qualified dermatologists, dedicated to raising awareness about skin, hair, nail, and genital health.

(World news) IADVL appeals to the public to seek advice only from qualified dermatologists for any skin, hair, or nail concerns and warns against the misuse of topical steroid creams, which can cause severe side effects.

The campaign also aims to dispel myths around conditions like psoriasis, leprosy, vitiligo, and HIV/AIDS, emphasizing that early diagnosis and proper treatment can lead to a normal and healthy life.
