(Cultural Politics) On the occasion of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ birthday and Goraksha Day, the BJP Savedi Mandal organized a ‘Desi Cow Conservation and Promotion Day’. A traditional ‘Gomata Poojan’ (cow worship ceremony) was conducted to honor the significance of the indigenous cow and promote the cause of cattle preservation.
(Cultural Politics) In Hindu culture, the cow holds a revered place. From the ashrams of ancient sages to the daily lives of saints and in every Hindu household, the cow is seen as sacred. She is regarded as the soul of Indian culture, closely linked to the spiritual and agrarian life of the people.
(Cultural Politics) BJP-Mahayuti government has taken historic steps towards cattle protection and conservation. Through such local initiatives, awareness about the importance of preserving desi cow breeds is being spread. The event emphasized the message: “Let us all protect and promote our native cattle.”
