(Educational) At Pargaon, under the Dr. Balasaheb Shinde Social Institute, the Smt. Vaishali Kolte Self-Employment and Skill Development Center was inaugurated at the hands of renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Nitin Kolte. On this occasion, educationist Dr. Sharad Kolte, Manisha Pandey-Kolte, Dr. Nayana Kolte, members of Vidarbha Mitra Mandal, Bhajani Mandal from Kedgaon, Milind Kolte, Jayshree Raghuram, architect Meenal Kale, students, and villagers in large numbers were present.

 

While speaking, Dr. Kolte said that earlier he and Dr. Halbe had worked on water conservation, tree plantation, and employment in the area, but now the challenges are different. For the past nine years, Dr. Sharad Kolte has been providing quality education through the English Medium School. Considering the local conditions, the Kolte family has donated two tamarind-breaking machines to the institution, which will generate employment in the region and help in the development of the school from the income earned. The Kolte family will always stand firmly behind the school.

 

In the introduction, Prof. Shinde highlighted the contribution of Smt. Vaishali Kolte to the institute. The center will guide students, youth, women’s self-help groups, and farmers about employment and entrepreneurship.

 

Shubhada Thigale, District Coordinator of Avani Foundation, also expressed her views and assured support for employment generation. Nikita Tanpure, Priti Kumtakar, Eshwar Tanpure, and Sahadev Shirke contributed to the success of the program.
