Kolhapur News: Former Shivaji University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manikrao Salunkhe Announced as Recipient of Indian Chemical Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award
Kolhapur News Prof. Dr. Manikrao Salunkhe, former Vice-Chancellor of Shivaji University and a distinguished education expert, has been announced as the recipient of the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by the prestigious national body, the Indian Chemical Society. The society, the parent organization for chemists across India, is celebrating its centenary this year. Dr. Salunkhe’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be conferred in this milestone year for the society. The annual convention of the society will be held in Jaipur from December 19-21, 2024, during which Dr. Salunkhe will receive the award. He will also be presented with an honorary lifetime fellowship from the society.
Dr. Salunkhe has held the esteemed position of Vice-Chancellor at several universities, including Rajasthan Central University in Jaipur, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University in Nashik, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences in Indore, and Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune. Through his research in chemistry and chemical engineering and his contributions to related industries, Dr. Salunkhe has left a unique mark.
