Dr. Syed Mudassar Nazir, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management Studies, Career Development and Research, Bhausaheb Pandurang Hivale Education Society, Ahmednagar, was today (18th) awarded the Ph.D. degree. He carried out in-depth research on the important topic “An Analytical Study on Succession Planning in Family-Owned Enterprises in Ahmednagar District.” This research falls under the Faculty of Commerce and Management, specifically in the subject of Human Resource Management.
The research was primarily guided by Dr. Pranoti Telore. He also received support and guidance from the institute’s Director, Dr. M. B. Mehta, and Deputy Director, Dr. Vikram Barnabas. Alongside, he was supported by his family—wife Rahila, daughter Maryam, son Yahya, friend Hatim Qaiyumi and brother Zahir.
(Academic) Through this research, a detailed presentation and analysis of succession planning in family-run businesses in Ahmednagar district has been made, and the findings are expected to prove highly significant for the local industrial sector.
