Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, the largest educational institution in Asia and a vital pillar in shaping the Bahujan generation, has awakened late. The President of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Hon. MP Sharadchandra Pawar, has suggested that the institution take the initiative to ensure that the movie ‘Karmaveerayan’ is shown to all students, parents, Rayat Sevaks, and workers associated with the institution. This information was provided by the institution’s secretary.
While providing more details, he mentioned that several pieces of literature shedding light on the life and work of Padma Bhushan Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil have been produced over the years to reach every level of society. To ensure that the life and educational work of Karmaveer reaches all sections of society, filmmaker Dhananjay Bahulekar has produced the movie ‘Karmaveerayan,’ which was recently released in many theaters across Maharashtra. Through this movie, an attempt has been made to present the life and work of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil and Laxmibai Patil to society. For this purpose, all branch heads, officers, and office bearers have been instructed to make special efforts to ensure that the movie ‘Karmaveerayan’ is viewed by all students, parents, Rayat Sevaks, and local workers associated with the institution.
Many days have passed since the release of the movie ‘Karmaveerayan’ in Maharashtra, but most of the people of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha were unpardonably neglecting this enlightenment. Activists from across the state took it upon themselves to ensure that the public watched this movie, even booking theaters themselves to screen it as a public awareness effort. Many people personally contributed money to ensure that the public saw the work of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, hoping that it would give new energy to the people of the state. In Ahmednagar too, activists took the initiative and showed the movie in 5-6 shows. These activists were not beneficiaries of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. It is shameful that those who are beneficiaries of Rayat had to be ordered directly by Sharad Pawar to participate in this enlightenment effort, even if only out of a sense of shame.
